About
I’m Ross Taylor. I run Alameda Internet Marketing, an AI-native marketing agency based in North Texas. We do search, content, and paid media for clients who want results that compound, not vendor pitches dressed up as strategy. I’ve been doing this work since before LLMs were a thing people argued about on LinkedIn.
I use AI daily in actual client work, which is the only credential I care about. On any given day that means running content pipelines through Claude for long-form drafts, using ChatGPT for structured data extraction and variant generation, and building multi-stage workflows with human approval gates at the brief and final-draft stages. I’ve run the same methodology across enough client accounts that I know what breaks and why. The tools change every quarter. The discipline around them doesn’t.
I started writing hommeplusrobot because the AI-in-business content landscape is mostly noise. Most of what gets published is vendor marketing, breathless newsletter takes, or academic research that never ships into production. I can only write about what I can verify from work we’ve actually done. That’s a narrower lane, but it’s the only honest one. If a piece on this site says something works, it’s because we’ve run it on a real client account and measured the outcome.
The ”+” in the name is the point. Not homme, not robot. The collaboration between a skilled human operator and the right AI system, used with discipline, is where the actual leverage lives in 2026. That’s what this site documents.

Questions I get asked
- Why this site?
-
Because the signal-to-noise ratio on AI in business is terrible. Most of what gets published is vendor marketing dressed as advice, or academic research that never ships. I write about what I can verify from actual client work. That's a narrow lane, but it's the only one worth occupying.
- Who do you work with?
-
Small and mid-size businesses that need SEO, content, or paid search to actually move revenue. We work best with clients who have a product worth marketing and the patience to build something that compounds. We are not a fit for clients who need 50 blog posts a week or want AI to replace thinking entirely.
- How do you actually use AI in your day to day?
-
Claude handles long-form drafts and brand-voice work. ChatGPT handles structured data extraction and volume variants. I use a multi-stage pipeline with a human approval gate at brief and final draft, not a single prompt. Everything I ship to clients goes through that gate. The pipeline is the methodology. The tools are interchangeable.
- Can I get in touch?
-
Email is the right channel. I read everything and reply when I have something useful to say. If you want to talk about working together, include a one-sentence description of what you are trying to accomplish.
